A focus on improving the cycle time and productivity of your product and process development functions by as much as 4x through the principles of knowledge-based engineering

The Lean Product Development Initiative (LPDI) is a set of products and services built around the findings of the successful NCMS collaborative project, Product Development Process-Methodology and Performance Measures. These findings, based largely on the Toyota paradigms, focus on development from a knowledge based perspective rather than the traditional control based perspective most common in companies today. As a result of this project, NCMS has a goal of deploying the results to its members and to North American manufacturing companies in general. Accordingly, LPDI is offering workshops, training, books, consulting, change management, etc for companies wishing to make a great leap forward in their product and process development productivity and cycle times.
